Configuring Payment Methods
Enable credit/debit card (virtual POS), bank transfer/EFT, and cash-on-delivery options in your store.
Payment methods are managed from Integration Settings → Payment Methods. The more suitable options you offer, the less likely customers are to abandon the checkout step.
Credit/Debit Card (Virtual POS)
IHASHOP provides ready-made integration options for widely used payment providers, including PayTR, iyzico, and others.
- Apply to the payment provider and open your merchant account. Your store URL is requested during the application.
- Obtain your API or merchant credentials from the provider's panel.
- Open the relevant provider under Payment Methods, enter the supplied credentials, and enable the method.
- Verify the connection by making a small real-value test payment.
You can keep more than one provider active at the same time. The customer can select the preferred provider during checkout. You may create a routing strategy based on commission rates.
Bank Transfer / EFT
- Define your accounts under Integration Settings → Bank Accounts using the bank name, IBAN, and account-holder information.
- Enable the bank-transfer option under Payment Methods.
- When the customer selects bank transfer during checkout, your IBAN details are displayed. The customer can upload a payment receipt from their account.
- Review the uploaded receipt in the order details and approve the payment.
For a detailed explanation, refer to the “Bank Transfer/EFT and Receipt Process” article.
Cash on Delivery
You can enable cash on delivery and optionally define a cash-on-delivery service fee. The configured fee is added to the basket automatically. For cash-on-delivery orders, you approve the payment manually from the admin panel after delivery.
Recommendation: Offering card, bank transfer/EFT, and cash on delivery together helps you address different customer preferences. Bank transfer and cash on delivery provide alternatives for customers who do not want to use a card.
