Pre-Launch Checklist
The complete list of steps you need to complete before opening your store to customers.
Before opening your store to customers, complete the following checklist from start to finish.
Store Identity
- System Settings → Store Settings: Are the store name, logo, favicon, phone number, email address, and physical address complete?
- System Settings → Theme Management: Is your theme selected, and are storefront elements such as the slider and featured products ready?
Catalog
- Are the categories arranged in a logical hierarchy?
- Are product prices, stock quantities, and images complete?
- Are SKU codes organized and consistent?
Payment
- Integration Settings → Payment Methods: Is at least one payment method active, and are your virtual POS details correct?
- If you accept bank transfers, have the Bank Accounts been defined?
Shipping
- System Settings → Shipping and Pricing: Have rules such as a flat shipping fee or free shipping above a specified amount been configured?
- Is your shipping provider defined under Integration Settings → Shipping Settings?
Legal Requirements
- Content Management → Legal Agreements: Are the distance selling agreement, return and delivery terms, and privacy and data-protection texts complete? Customize the provided templates using your business information.
- Are your About Us and Contact pages up to date?
Notifications
- Notification Center → Email Settings: Has the sender email account (SMTP) been configured, and was the test email delivered successfully?
- Communication and Messaging → Notification Routing Matrix: Have you defined who receives a notification for each event?
Final Test: Test Order
- Select a product from your store and place an order as a real customer would.
- Complete the payment step. If you use bank transfer, also test the receipt upload flow.
- Open the order in the admin panel, move it through its status flow, and verify that notification emails are delivered.
When every check is complete, your store is ready for sales.
